Waterfront
Escape to Mimosa Lake Retreat just minutes from Charlotte Airport, Carowinds, Oakboro Disk Golf Park and. Eagle Chase golf course. Bring the whole family and experience the waterfowl, turtles, bass, pan fish, and all of the wildlife that’s here for your exploring. Enjoy the late nights at the fire pit on the water.
Camping experience wih 5-star living accommodations
Each one of our units at Mimosa Lake Retreat have a private fireplace and waterfront access, a private waterfront fire pit and outdoor eating area. Enjoy a walk around the pond or an evening at the fire pit. There’s lots of action in the pond with bass and panfish that will really give you a fight. Fishing Birds, Turtles and all the wildlife are all here for your peaceful enjoyment.
Recreation Center
The Barn is a great recreation center. We know you will love the retro cozy atmosphere that can be enjoyed in the middle of the day or by the wood burner for the late evenings. The Recreation Center Is like nothing you’ve ever seen before, a retro common area where guests can meet and interact for a time of great social enjoyment and fun for the family. Some inside and outside games are Pit-Ball, Foosball, Chess and more. Available upon request.
Kitchens at Mimosa Lake Retreat
All of the units at Mimosa Lake Retreat are furnished with complete kitchens and the items a chef would desire. We like to cook and believe we’ve provided everything you need to enjoy preparing meals for your family at Mimosa Lake Retreat. We also like to drink coffee therefore, you will find what you need. If there is anything that’s not in place just call your neighbors on the other side of the water; We will be happy to lend you what we have.Â
Washer and dryers
Expect to find a washer and dryer at every unit. We want you to have the convenience of being at home. There’s a lot more but you’ll just have to come to see it for yourself.
Wildlife and Nature
Wildlife at a Mimosa Lake Retreat is often a captivating and integral part of the experience. Guests can expect to encounter a variety of animals, from Mallards, Cranes, Turtles, and playful Muscovy Ducks to deer and other small mammals, as they explore the natural surroundings. The retreat is nestled on 24 acres with a 4 acre lake in the middle that, provides an opportunity to observe nature and take a walk around the water. It’s a chance to unwind in a tranquil environment while enjoying the beauty and diversity of nature.
Parking
At Mimosa Lake Retreat we provide three parking spots for all of our guests. We want you to have ample space and convenience for you and your family. Please review our policies and procedures for parking policies as we wish to provide convenience and consideration to all our guests.
Disc Golf
Oakboro Park is only 10 minutes away with a top-rated disc golf course. Bring the whole family for this free event. Also, enjoy walking around the trails and enjoying the other amenities within this park.
Golfing
Eagle Chase Golf Course Is a top-rated golf course and is only 5 minutes away from Mimosa Lake Retreat. Call in advance to make a reservation and enjoy a great 18-hole golf course that you want to play year after year.
