We want you to have all the Comforts of home and be able to enjoy all the things that come with a great retreat or getaway. If there’s something you don’t have just give us a call Susan and I are just a stone’s throw across the water.
Mimosa Lake Retreat Resort is located east of Charlotte North Carolina.
We offer a variety of accommodations, including The Cozy Cottage, The Rock is Elegant and Eagle View has a loft overlooking the water where of course the Eagles hang out. And Yes I said Eagles. If you are lucky you might see mom and dad eagle.
Pets are not currently allowed at Mimosa Lake Retreat Resort. We want to ensure a tranquil and comfortable experience for all our guests, and for this reason, we do not accommodate pets on the property.Â

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available at all the retreat’s units.Â
You don’t need a fishing license but you may not fish unless you are registered and staying in one of the units and you must have finished the instructions from our host and obtain a fishing card prior to throwing in the line.
- No triple hooks.
- No bobbers.
- No live bait.
- Surface lures only.
We recommend a walk around the lake. Catch frogs or turtles all you wish and enjoy a care free stroll. We ask that you don’t stay in the front yard of the other guests units, but spend as much time as you wish at the common areas of the water front.Â
We can accommodate group bookings and small events in The Reck Center (The Barn) or at the waterfront. We can house large groups. Please get in touch with Pops or Susan for more info at (704) 635-0353
A deposit or full payment is required at the time of booking. The amount varies depending on the length of stay and the type of accommodation. Most of our guests pay at the time of booking.Â
Outdoor music or entertainment during events is allowed with prior written approval. Please no out door or loud music.
