The Vintage Gathering Barn is a gathering space that is rented by the hour, but can also be rented overnight.

The Space

Discover the Vintage Gathering Barn, a one-of-a-kind retreat nestled within the peaceful setting of Mimosa Lake Retreat. This charming, retro-inspired space blends cozy comfort with rustic character, creating an inviting atmosphere for a memorable stay or gatherings. Enjoy evenings by the large lakeside campfire – perfect for wedding rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, family reunions, company picnics, or just for gathering with friends and family. Dual wood burners (available with host assistance) and ample firewood provide warmth and comfort on rainy days.

Unwind and entertain with classic games such as pinball, board games, and foosball for friendly competition.

The Vintage Gathering Barn sits on a scenic 24-acre property featuring open green space, abundant wildlife, and a stunning four-acre reflective lake as its crown jewel. It’s an ideal lodging option for out-of-town guests attending one of the many nearby wedding venues. Overnight stays are available and comfortably accommodate up to six guests. Up to 40 guests can be accommodated for events.

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the Vintage Gathering Barn, including the kitchen, which is stocked with utensils, pots, pans, glasses, and other essentials. The unit includes one bathroom for guest use. Please note that bedding and personal items should not be disturbed while guests are using the Gathering Barn for events. The wood-burning stoves are only available for hosted events.

Other things

We like to cook too and believe we’ve provided everything you need to enjoy preparing meals for your family and friends at Vintage Barn Retreat. We also like to drink coffee, therefore, you will find a coffee maker. Amenities like a toaster oven, microwave and things that make it like home. If there is anything that’s not in place, just call your neighbors (Pops the host) on the other side of the water; we will be happy to lend you what we have

Fishing

Fishing is permitted only with a valid private permit that must be applied for and approved prior to arrival. Each individual angler must complete an application and carry their permit while fishing.

Guests age 13 and under must either have their own permit or be listed on a permitted adult’s application and must be accompanied by that adult while fishing.
